With a focus on outcome-based education, the department nurtures competent diploma engineers who are ready for higher studies, entrepreneurship, and professional practice.

The department is supported by a dedicated team of 12 GES Class-II Lecturers, 3 Instructors (Grade B), and 1 Class-IV staff member, ensuring effective teaching–learning, laboratory supervision, and smooth departmental operations. Our faculty members actively engage in academic development and continuous upskilling; several are currently pursuing their Ph.D. from reputed institutes such as IITs and NITs, which strengthens our teaching quality and research culture.

To promote hands-on learning and innovation, the department houses a 3D Printer Laboratory, enabling students to experience rapid prototyping and product development practices. Through laboratory work, mini-projects, industry visits, and technical activities, students gain exposure to design, manufacturing, thermal sciences, and modern tools.

The Mechanical Engineering Department continuously strives to create an environment that encourages technical excellence, creativity, and professional ethics, supporting students in becoming skilled technocrats who can contribute effectively to industry and society.
