HOD's Message

The Electrical Engineering Department is dedicated to developing technically strong and industry-ready diploma engineers through a balanced blend of sound theory, practical training, and professional exposure. The department emphasizes outcome-based learning, strong fundamentals in electrical systems, and hands-on skills aligned with modern industrial requirements.

The department is supported by a team of 7 faculty members, including 4 M.Tech. and 3 B.E. qualified teachers. Strengthening the academic and research culture, one faculty member is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from Gujarat Technological University (GTU). This continuous engagement in higher studies and professional development contributes to improved teaching quality and up-to-date technical knowledge.

Beyond classroom and laboratory learning, the department actively promotes knowledge enrichment through expert lectures, technical sessions, and industry interactions. It is also involved in consultancy activities, applying departmental expertise to support technical problem-solving and services for external stakeholders. Through these initiatives, students gain exposure to real-world engineering practices, professional communication, and current industry trends.

The Electrical Engineering Department remains committed to creating a strong academic environment that encourages innovation, discipline, and lifelong learning, preparing students to contribute confidently in industry, higher education, and society.
